I've been there twice. Never had much water bar damage. I have on ONE or TWO bad ones (out of like a hundred) taken them a bit too fast and nosed on landing, but never terminally. A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE A LOT OF TERMINAL WATER BAR DAMAGE. The key is go as fast as you can, without wrecking your car :) 1) dont land on the nose 2) dont dig in to the bar (i.e. hit it so hard you bottom out before liftoff) 3) fly straight and level 4) dont fly too high 5) dont be on the brakes as you hit it 6) dont break driveshafts on landings (i.e. wildly spinning wheels in the air) 7) remember, every one has to hit them, everyone has to slow down or break the car. You wont win the rally with 'supafast water bar' technique. You can lose the rally that way. 8) when you hit a 'triple' dont try to clear the next one - landing on the chassis on the top will hurt 9) brake hard, get on gas a little bit, be smooth and carry your momentum 10) again, dont worry about being 'slow' on the water bars 11) dont go slow over one, then think "gee that wasn't bad, I will take the next one faster", because the next one might look the same but be twice as big on the other side 12) downhill braking into them, remember you cant effetively slow down much when going over it - Pat Richard
