The simplest thing and cost effective would be larger diameter (do the math kids, 14mm is about 33% more area) studs off the shelf or do what I did on Derek Bottles Maz-dog GTX when I made that lovely big disc 4 piston kit: M14 bolts: trim the heads a bit, turn a nubbin on the end, press them in and give them a little zap on the back side so they stay in. REAL cars use the M14 and have a straight sleeve at the base of the hub which engages a straight steel sleeve in the wheel so that you're driving force is on the straight sleeve, and not the cone or taper of the lug nut seat. This is whats on the works 4x4 Sapphy sitting outside here, and I seem to remember that that's what I saw on Scott Fullers car as well. Maybe he could say. Or Dave Clark. I'll try and post a photo of what REAL studs look like, and what are acceptable available affordable versions for mere humans look like. PROVEN stong. > > >Good Luck!
