Translation of F-CUP series rules for 2004

 

Note! F-cup series organizer has not verified this translation so the translation might have some faults and deficiencies. The whole set of rules are not translated, but the main points.

During F-cup event, the series office is located in the same place as the actual office of the event.

 

2                        General

2.1.        Individual events of the F-cup series are arranged with the approval of AKK-Motorsport. The individual events that are included into F-cup series are:

2.2.                          Reconnaissance is not allowed unless the rules of the individual event/competition state otherwise.

 

2.3.        F-cup series is arranged by the rules and regulations of AKK-Motorsport including the rules and regulations stated in this F-cup series document. Additional regulations/ amendments are possible.

 

2.4.        Additional amendments are published as numbered bulletins. They have the same power as these regulations.

 

3            Competition routes

3.1.        Each competition of the series will provide their own description of the route.

 

4            Cars and classes

4.1.        All cars build according to the regulations of F-group can compete in the series. (AKK Tech. reg. 2004).

Note!    Yleinen, A-juniori and B-juniori are the driver classifications of Finland. F-cup series’ competitions are held as national-level events.

 

5            Entry procedure

5.1.    Anybody wishing to take part in the F-cup series 2004 must send the entry form duly completed to the Series Secretariat before Monday, 19 of January 2004 at 16.00. When paying the fee, the payment must have the name of the driver clearly stated in the “tiedonantoja (information)” field. (Detailed bank/entry info not included in this translation)

 

5.2.    If an entry is cancelled, it must be done 2 weeks before the entry period is closed. Refund will take place max. 2 weeks after the cancellation. There will be 84 Euro charge even if the entry is cancelled. Entry time starts 12.12.2003

 

5.3.    220 competitors will be accepted to the F-cup series and they are selected according to their entry time; 74 competitors as yleinen, 73 A-juniori and 73 B-juniori drivers. If any of these groups is not filled, the other groups will evenly be increased by the missing amount.

 

5.4.    Driver cannot be changed after the first event of the series

 

5.5.        Driver can change between the car classes in the different events of the series.

 

5.6.        A and B juniors will compete the whole series as either A or B juniors regardless of the rising points their get. This regulation is only effective in the F-cup series.

 

5.7.        Every competitor/crew must complete the entry procedure to each singular event and also pay the fee of each event.

 

5.8.        Every competitor/crew must accept a sticker to the upper part of the windscreen. Also the engine lid (hood) must have a space 50 cm x 50 cm reserved for the series promotion purposes.

    

         

6            Entry fee

6.1.            Entry fee to F-cup series is EUR 480, of which the taxes take EUR 86,40.

 

6.2.        Every crew must pay the entry fee of the individual competition belonging to the series. The amount of the fee is included to the rules of the event.

 

6.2.            Competing in the F-cup series is done with the competitor’s own risk.

 

7            Entry list and starting order

7.1         Entry list is created by the organizer and it is mailed to the competitors as soon as it is ready. In the first event, the starting order is drawn out within classes, first starts class 1, then 2 etc. In the later events the starting order is reflecting the points gathered from the series except the Yleinen driver class. Yleinen starting order is done according to the previous competition’s finishing order except that the first 20 will start in reverse order.

 

7.2.        F-cup series participants will have privilege when entering a competition that belongs to F-cup series and they will be placed to the front of the starting order list (in front of those not participating in the series, but participating in the individual event).

 

8            Official results

8.1.        After each event, the official result of the series is published on the information board of the event (after they have been officially been accepted by the judges).

 

9            Prizes

9.1.        75% of entry fees (minus VAT) is distributed as prizes to the competitors according to their overall placing in the F-cup series. These prizes are paid as travel allowance to the 14 best competitors:

               In order to get the travel allowance, the driver must have original receipts on his name. Such receipts can be mileage allowance, hotel and entry costs.                              

 

9.2.        Special prizes will be drawn amongst all the participants of the series.

 

 

10          Competitions and points

10.1.      F-cup consists of (6) individual rally competitions, of which 5 are counted into the final score.

 

               Points are scored as followed by each class:

               A crew that finishes the individual competition is awarded 1 point.

              

               The overall competition finishers get additional points if they are located in top 3 of each driver level:
